1. About Us

The Busy Bear Company is a boutique matching and introduction service operating in Cyprus. We connect carefully selected housemaids with expat and international families who value trust, discretion, and professionalism.

We are not an employer.

2. Scope of Services

2.1 We provide:

• matching and introduction services only;

• candidate preparation and training;

• facilitation of initial introductions and matching calls.

2.2 We do not:

• employ housemaids;

• negotiate or manage employment contracts;

• handle salaries, taxes, visas, or permits;

• guarantee employment outcomes.

All employment relationships are entered into directly between families and housemaids.

3. Client Responsibilities

Families agree that they:

• provide accurate and complete information;

• act respectfully toward candidates;

• comply with all applicable employment and immigration laws.

The Busy Bear Company is not responsible for any disputes that arise after introductions are made.

4. Candidate Responsibilities

Housemaids agree that:

• all information provided is truthful and accurate;

• participation in training is mandatory before presentation;

• introductions are not guaranteed.

5. Matching Calls

5.1 Matching calls are:

• 15–20 minutes in duration;

• moderated by The Busy Bear Company;

• introductory only, not full interviews.

5.2 We reserve the right to pause or end calls that do not follow our guidelines.

6. Fees & Payments

• No payment is required to attend the first matching call.

• Fees become payable only once a family chooses to proceed under a signed Service Agreement.

• Fees are non-refundable once services have commenced, unless required by law.

7. No Guarantee

We do not guarantee:

• placement;

• compatibility;

• duration of employment;

• performance of any candidate.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• we are not liable for actions or omissions of families or candidates;

• liability is limited to fees paid to us, if any.

9. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, text, and materials belong to The Busy Bear Company and may not be copied or reused without permission.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Cypriot courts.
